Participation
Those who have passed the EBC*L examination Level A or B are permitted to take part at the EBC*L Champions League 2010.
The participation at the national as well as at the international competition is completely free of charge (catering and other general expenses included).
Phase 1: Preliminaries
The 30 best candidates from each category (pupils, students, under 30' s), who have achieved the highest scores in the EBC*L Level A or EBC*L Level B examination between September 2009 and September 2010 can participate at the EBC*L Champions League.
Phase 2: National EBC*L Champions League
Candidates are challenged with an elaborate business case study. The 3 best candidates from each category collect fantastic prizes and can rise to represent their countries at the international event in Vienna. Additionally, winners are invited to attend an English Camp free of charge.
English Camp
The 9 winners of the 2010 National EBC*L Champions League are invited to attend an English camp in their respective country. Here, they have the chance to brush up on their command of English and to prepare themselves for the international contest. The English camp is completely free of charge.
Phase 3: International EBC*L Champions League
The 9 national champions are invited to Vienna, Austria, to participate at the International EBC*L Champions League. Here, champions from at least 12 partner countries are given the opportunity to compete against one another. The International Champions League is held entirely in English. Candidates will once again be confronted with an intricate business case study, which will challenge their business competence to the utmost.
