Dear visitor to the website ‘Understanding accounting scandals’

• Some basic knowledge of accounting is very helpful to be able to understand accounting scandals. This is achieved via a clear case study prepared in an understandable way for those not familiar with the field. The example used is Magic World – a launderette with an integrated crèche. This introduction to accounting consists of four modules, each around 10 minutes long. This original component of the learning program also includes a spoken soundtrack.
  
• After that you find a chapter dedicated specifically to the topic ‘accounting scandals’. This topic is then explained - for the time being without sound – based on a different case study – DaD Corp. and Mr. Tricky.
• If you only have a very short amount of time or are already sufficiently familiar with the topic you can jump straight to the ‘accounting scandals’. It will however be more beneficial (also in relation to work) if you also take in the necessary basis ‘accounting – basics’.
• If you have problems starting the learning program, you can find an overview of the most common problems here. When you finish the learning program you will end up on this page.
