| EBC*L established in Azerbaijan |

My trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, has explicitly shown a big interest for EBC*L programme in the whole country. The economic growth in former Soviet republics was very rapid in the last years. In Azerbaijan it was even two-digit. So it became obvious, that more and more companies need competent employees. After a press conference in News Agency of Baku Media attention for EBC*L was really great.

The best solution would be if students could gain the economic “know-how” before starting their career development. Especially Universities set a high value on this. On 17.10.2008 the EBC* L programme was successfully presented to a big auditorium of “Khazar” University. “Khazar” has been already accredited by Allianz Group as a training centre of EBC*L. “This University will include EBC*L Level A in its syllabus next year.
Mr. Prof. Fuat H. Rasulov, dean of economic faculty in “Khazar” University expressed his opinion after the presentation: “EBC*L is the best program to learn business”.

Two following prominent Azerbaijan’s Universities, University for Economy and University for Building and Construction, showed a big interest and have now intention to offer the EBC*L programme for their students.
